夏季田園風(fēng)光畫面。
2; 田間路上,日，外
路旁，兩排茂密的白楊樹
白莊的男男女女社員們，扛著各式農(nóng)具，走在收工的路上。
叮叮當(dāng)當(dāng)?shù)鸟R車響鈴聲，由模糊到逐漸清晰。
一輛馬車由遠(yuǎn)而近，從對(duì)面而來。
人群里。吳寡婦腰間露出的一節(jié)紅腰帶，隨著她的臀部的擺動(dòng)，搖曳著，很是扎眼。
和她似乎并肩走在一起的光棍二爺，瞥眼看看，把斗笠沿往下拉了拉，有意放慢了腳步，落在人群后面。
胖嫂快步趕上來，拍了吳寡婦肩膀一下：我說他嬸子啊，腰里露紅了?莫非是---?
女社員。人家今年是本命年啊，扎根紅腰帶，圖個(gè)吉利唄。
吳寡婦羞怯地：這----不是……
社員乙：這一轉(zhuǎn)眼，她家孩子和他爹，遇車禍都死了多年了，人家她嬸子，日子過得也真不容易，趕上本命年，也該見見紅，充充喜啊。
社員甲：我聽人家念叨，本命年，最好要穿一年的紅褲頭，那樣會(huì)更好。
社員乙，你說的倒好，如今每人一年發(fā)給那點(diǎn)布票，幾年才能湊夠買幾尺布。
社員甲：布票不夠，向那些幾年都不買布料的光棍家借點(diǎn)啊。
3： 遠(yuǎn)處的村落。日，外。
樹蔭中，錯(cuò)落有致的屋頂上，幾個(gè)煙囪，炊煙裊裊。

1. EXT. A PLACE of SHANDONG, CHINA-DAY
Idyllic scene in summer.
2. EXT. FARMLAND TRAIL-DAY
Two rows of lush poplars stand along the road.
Men and women members of the people’s commune in Baizhuang carry all kinds of farm tools, and walk on the way home.
The jingling sound from a carriage gradually turns from fuzzy to clear.
A carriage draws near and comes from the opposite side.
In the crowd, a red belt is exposed on Widow Wu’s waist and sways with the swing of her hips. This is eye-catching scene.
Single man Erye seems to walk together with Widow Wu side by side. He shoots a glance at her, pulls down the bamboo hat, deliberately slows his pace, and walks behind the crowd.
Fat Lady quickly catches up, and slaps at Widow Wu’s shoulder: Hey, is there something red on your waist? Could it be that---?
Female Commune Member
“This year is my animal year. I wear red waistband for good luck.”
Widow Wu looks shyly
“Oh, no--It’s not what you think.”
Commune Member #2
“Her child and her husband unfortunately died in a car accident many years ago. She has a hard life. No doubt, she wants to pray for auspice by means of wearing something red.”
Commune Member #1
“Others tell me that people had better to wear red underpants throughout their respective animal years to enjoy more fortunes.”
Commune Member #2
“You're booing. We get so few cloth coupons that we can merely buy cloth after scraping and screwing for several years.”
Commune Member #1
“If you have no enough cloth coupons, you can borrow from those single men who hardly buy cloth over years.”
3: EXT. DISTANT VILLAGE-DAY
In the shade, smoke curls up from several kitchen chimneys on well-spaced roofs.
